WordCamp Europe 2014 is here – what to expect

Hey guys,

WordCamp Europe is tomorrow. We hope you are as excited as the organising team.

Here are a few quick notes to help you go through tomorrow with as much ease as possible.

Getting to the venue:

National Palace of Culture

Here’s a map to the venue and the Foursquare venue

Parking

If you’re coming with a car there are plenty of spaces available in the Green Parking Zone around the venue. Alternatively you can use the free parking at Vassil Levski Stadium that’s 10 minutes walking distance from the venue.

Registration starts at 8am

Registration is on the 6th floor of NDK (National Palace of Culture).

Stating your name at the registration desk is enough to get you in. You don’t need to print out a ticket or show us any receipts.

Registration opens at 8am sharp. We kindly ask you to show up on time and help us start at 9 am with the opening remarks as planned.

Important: When you get in the building from the central entrance, please use the elevators and escalators on your right.

The central entrance is the one between the two coffee houses – Memento and Costa Coffee.

Halls

The two conference halls are Hall 3 (aka the Big Hall on the 7th floor ) and Hall 9 (aka the small hall on the 5th floor).

Schedule

This year we don’t have special tracks. Use the colour coding of the schedule on the website to decide which talks you’d like to see. Here’s a hint:

legend2-1

Sponsors

Our brilliant sponsors will be on the sixth floor along with the registration desk and information.

After party

The after party starts at 8:00pm and will be held at club Mixtape5 which is in the underpass of NDK, just 2 minutes from the venue.

Bring your badge to the club to get in. It’s also your pass for free drinks, so kind of important.

That’s it everyone. See you tomorrow!

Love,

The organising team
